The Pennsylvania Alley Cats strive for excellence in sport, character, and academics. Through softball we teach leadership and teamwork and inspire young women to go on to college and work for their dreams.
ABOUT THE PENNSYLVANIA ALLEY CATS
The Alley Cats draw players from a 60-mile radius around Harrisburg, PA. Established in 1998 with a single team, the Alley Cats will field 9 teams for the 2010 season. Alley Cat teams have played tournaments from Montreal to Orlando to Boulder as well as World Series Tournaments in Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Florida, Virginia, Ohio, and Illinois with 4 top ten finishes including a 5th place finish in the 2006 PONY Nationals and runner up in the 2004 NSA Super World Series.
The Pennsylvania Alley Cats strive to promote the college aspirations of young women athletes by providing exposure to college coaches and by helping them to learn leadership skills through athletic competition. Alley Cat players have continued their education at over 30 different colleges and universities. The Alley Cats are always looking for class "A" quality student athletes with higher education goals.
The PA Alley Cats organization provides an excellent softball experience for class "A" quality players with a goal of developing their athletic and leadership skills. Former Alley Cat players have utilized their softball and leadership skills to help achieve their educational goals at over 30 different colleges and universities in Pennsylvania, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Massachusetts, South Carolina, and Virginia.
